What are Good Food Boxes?

Good Food Boxes offer you fresh fruit & vegetables for much less than what you would pay at the grocery stores!

Three sizes of food boxes are available:

Small - $30.00 (approx. 20 lbs/9 kg of fresh produce)
Medium - $35.00 (approx. 30 lbs/13.5 kg of fresh produce)
Large - $40.00 (approx. 40 lbs/18 kg of fresh produce)

Bethany Chapel is a depot in the southwest of Calgary for the Community Kitchen Good Food Box program. This means that we collect payment for orders, forward them to Community Kitchen, and then provide the location for you to pick-up your box on the designated dates.

There are two ways to order and pay for your Good Food Box -

1) ONLINE PAYMENT BY CREDIT OR DEBIT

Click here to order your Sept 18th box. Payment by credit or debit card is required at the time of order.

If you are ordering more than one box, you can do so at the same time.

Notes: Our cut-off date is earlier than what appears on Community Kitchen’s Good Food Box site as their date is the date we need to place our order by.

You must complete information on who will be benefiting from the box for each one ordered. This information is shared on an aggregate basis with Community Kitchen. This allows them, as well as their sponsors, to understand the demographics of who is accessing this program.

2) in-person PAYMENT BY CASH OR DEBIT

You may complete a paper form and pay by cash or debit at the church office (click here for a map). Click here for our office hours (please note - we are closed on Fridays and that is our cut-off date. Therefore, if you are ordering in-person, the deadline is a day before the published date.)

PICK-UP GUIDELINES

You may pick up your box at the church after 1:00 PM on the delivery date. A label, with your name on it, will be placed on your box. Please ensure you collect the correct box prior to leaving.
